Happy Birthday To Ava....

Well Ava turned 4 on Saturday. We had a small party for her and of course she was typical Ava and so happy about everything. Especially her cake. Even though the weather was not the greatest and we were planning on grilling we still had a good time and just brought the grill into the garage. :)

Who Me???

Look who I found with his hands in the cookie jar....or should I say birthday cake! I was finishing up some editing and I look over in the kitchen to find Chunk happily dipping away at Ava's birthday cake from yesterday. Look at that look on his face like "Who me?? I'm not doing anything wrong!!" What a devilish little look in those eyes!!!

Preschool Graduation...

Ava graduated from preschool on Tuesday night. It was so cute to see all of the little ones in their cap and gowns. I just can't believe she has a year of preschool under her belt already and tomorrow is turning 4!! Boy the time just slips away!!!!!!

Field Day...

Just thought I would share Holden's field day with everyone. It was Tuesday morning and even at 10:00 in the morning it was still sooo warm not to mention full sun..... BRIGHT!!!
He is such a runner! He loves races and did really well.....I think he got second. Still can't beat Eli :)

2 Cute Little Fellers...

These little guys were such a treat! They both had the most stunning eyes too....one had dark brown and the other bright blue. They were both so gorgeous and reminded me of my kids eyes....my boys both have really dark brown and Ava has crystal blues eyes. I find it so strange how genetics work.....I guess a variety is good. Now I just need 1 green eyed baby :)

Just Playing Outside...

I found this cool chair at an antique store that I frequent. I thought it was perfect for some really loud fun pics! The kids were having such a good time playing outside today that I thought I would just get a few quick shots...it was so bright today and so warm. What a great day!!

The Cutest Face.....

Oh this little girl was sooo precious!!! I just loved her. She was so sweet, had the cutest little voice and was just all around a pleasure. I could photograph her 24/7!! Is't she just the most adorable little thing?!?!

Cooling Off.....

It was a warm one today....especially when working out in the yard. We did manage to get a few things in the front taken care of, now it is off to the back.

I Love Playing Outside....

I finally mastered a silhouette. I have forgotten what it was like to shoot in natural light again. I have been doing so much studio lately. It is a nice change to get outside and shoot again....even if it is when you are just playing
The B&W is just a quick one of Ava....I swear the girl refuses to look at me anymore.
The color one is my niece Eve....she is such a little sweetie! Seriously I have never seen the girl without a smile on her face....she is so incredibly happy! I love the way the way light is hitting her face, so I thought I would share it.
