Senior Time....

It is such a nice change of pace to have a senior. I love having a variety of clients. From children, to weddings, families and seniors. I really love it all!
This girl was so nice and willing to do anything. She was so much fun. We got some nice shots and had a good time doing them....you can't beat that! Oh and she came to me as a referral from some really great people so a shout you to you Mike & Robin :)

I'm Back!!!

Well it seems like forever since I have posted. After having a few weeks "off" to recover I'm back and ready to roll. When I say "off" I mean just not shooting sessions. I was still working a lot! I had tons of emails to answer, info packets to get out, wedding albums to design and what seemed like a never ending pile of sessions to edit! I'm happy to say that I think I am all caught up.
Here are a few images from my last wedding. I have a few more weddings to shoot before the end of the year. What a busy year!

The Big One...

Well as I mentioned in my previous post I received my long awaited canvas. I had been waiting which seemed like forever to get a good picture of all 3 of my kids together. I had this particular shot in my head for awhile and it was just finding what I needed waiting for the right day and going with it. Of course it didn't go quite as planned but I managed to get one shot that I thought would work for my canvas. Anyways....the canvas turned out gorgeous!!! I had a collage on my wall of about 20 framed pictures and I made husband patch all of the nail holes and repaint the wall so I could get one BIG canvas. Yeah, he was beyond thrilled ;) The canvas is 32x48 and looks great on my newly decorated wall.
Here are a couple of shots to show you how big it actually is.....my kids looks so excited huh?!?!? :)

Long Time No Post....

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm doing great and everything went really well!
I am really missing my camera and my clients for that matter! I think I will have to take Ava out to the studio and get a few shots. It is really weird not having taken any photos in a couple of weeks.
I received my canvas of all 3 of my kids and it is gorgeous and enormous!! I'll have to take a few shots of it and post them to show you just how big it is.
September is filling up super fast and October is starting to get busy too so if you know that you want to book a session please get in touch with me to schedule something.

Love Her!

I love this little girl so much! She reminds me of Ava as a little girl. I have taken her pictures for a while now and from the first time I saw her I was in love her her eyes!! She had these big blue eyes and this cute little high pitch scream, it was adorable!!!
It is so neat to see my clients grow older and bigger. I love watching them emerge into little people of their own with their own minds and personalities. If she grows up to be anything like her mama she will be a wonderful person!!!

Well I finally managed to get a shot of my 3 babes together. I had the shot planned out in my head for quite a while and have just been waiting for the right opportunity to do it. Getting 3 kids to all look great in 1 shot is a lot harder than it looks. One of them is always not looking or picking on the other....it is always something. But I did manage to get one that I like well enough for a new canvas. 2 Sweet Little Beauties.....

I told mom I would post a little sneak peak for her....so here are a few :)
Aren't these 2 little girls adorable?!?!? I love it when a client comes in and tells me what they want. I always make sure to ask if they want anything specific. I do like to be creative and like it when they say "go for it, do whatever" too. After all I really want to give them what they want. Mom had a couple of really great ideas of what she wanted and her shots are going to look great how she is going to display them. I can tell that we have the same taste and would get along really well......:) Here are the cuties :) :)

New 2009 Calendar Sets...

I have a new set of 2009 calendars that I am offering. These are sooo cute! They come in a 5x7 size and there are 12 different styles, one for each month. They also come with a little desk top frame. So all you have to do is pull them out of the frame and replace with the new current month. These also make a great gift.

I saw this on a friends blog and thought I would give it a go. There is this website that will take words from your blog or website and make a cute little collage out of them...I thought it was kind of fun. So anyways here is a little collage from Wordle with words from my blog.

Well today is Fiona's 1st birthday.....now the puppy days are gone and hopefully she will act more like an adult dog now too :) Here are some new pictures of her.

Check Out This Whopper!!

Along with the warm weather of summer comes bare feet! I swear between Chunk and Eve they have had about 20 slivers already. I have told them you have to keep shoes on. But I have never seen one this big before! Poor little Chunk. He has had the worst luck with them. In fact 2 days after he had this huge one he got one underneath his big toe. He must drag his feet across the deck when he walks. You would think that would teach a kid to keep some sandals on huh!??! Check out those nice dirty pigs.

Hi Guys!!!

I had the pleasure of photographing Jason and Lori's wedding on Saturday. This couple is not only THE nicest couple that I have ever met but honestly they are truly the most outgoing, laid back, fun loving, genuine people that I have ever met!!! I can not say enough good things about them! They are truly great people! I don't think I have ever enjoyed photographing a wedding like I did theirs.

Their ceremony was held at a great little chapel on the campus of MSU. It was absolutely perfect!!! And the reception was held at one of the most gorgeous country clubs that I have ever been to. It was all around perfect!!!
Lori and Jason were so great and up for anything...really a photographers dream couple!!!
